Travel for Surgery

Patients regularly travel to see Dr. Oseto and have surgery.  Most patients come from the West Coast, but some journey from as far away as Florida, Canada and Italy!

Ideally, we would  do a telemedicine visit first, then have you see Dr. Oseto in person prior to scheduling surgery.  Telemedicine visits are available for patients in Washington, Oregon, California and Texas.

After the telemedicine visit, you can be seen in clinic the day before surgery to confirm the telemedicine diagnoses with an in-person history and exam.  Surgery, if deemed necessary, can happen the following day. Typically the initial post-operative visit is 4-5 days post surgery but for some patients this can be the day after surgery so they can travel home and minimize cost and time away from home.

We do surgery at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, WA and at Edmonds Center for Outpatient Surgery in Edmonds, WA.  Our office is located in Mountlake Terrace, WA.  For office visits you can find hotels/house rentals in the North Seattle, Mountlake Terrace or Lynnwood area – these are the most convenient locations. If you are traveling here for surgery, we recommend staying close to the surgery center and are happy to provide recommendations for hotels and vacation rentals.

For air travel, flying into Seatac (SEA) or Paine Field (PAE) will work.

If you are out of the area, or travel is a barrier for you, please contact our office to schedule a telemedicine visit!
