Dr. Oseto is an ABOS board-certified orthopedic surgeon with twenty-five years experience providing general orthopedic care; specialized care of the hand, foot, and ankle; and specialized care of joints, ligaments, and nerve compression syndromes in people with hypermobility.
Dr. Oseto had a free-range childhood growing up in Fargo, ND playing hockey and getting into benign mischief. He attended North Dakota State University, where he majored in chemistry. He then attended the University of Texas at Austin, where he attained a Master's degree in exercise physiology. Realizing a passion for surgery, Dr. Oseto headed back home to North Dakota to attend medical school at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his residency in orthopedics at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, serving as chief resident his fifth year.
Dr. Oseto credits his wife for breaking the cycle of living in North Dakota and Texas, as she hailed from the Pacific Northwest and wished to return to the area. Happy to settle down anywhere with an REI and a Whole Foods, Dr. Oseto enthusiastically agreed and began his storied career here in the Seattle metropolitan area.
These days, when not at work, Dr. Oseto enjoys resurrecting his high school hockey career, competitive orienteering, never-ending home improvement projects, cultivating their garden, volunteering with professional and patient organizations, and spending time with his family.
